What we call a “cégep” constitutes the first level of higher education in the Quebec education system and is comparable to technical high schools and university institutes of technology in the French system.

“Cégep” is a term used in Quebec to describe a college offering the first level of post-secondary education. (The name is an acronym derived from the French for “general and professional teaching college.”)

Our technical programs, which vary in duration from 10 months to 3 years, are designed primarily for students aiming to enter the job market in the short or medium term.
